Scott's Playing History

Scott and Tim skated together on the 1994-95 University of Maine team that was the NCAA National Championship runner-up. Scott played on the first line as a freshman (33 pts) on that team and also led Maine in goal scoring his junior year, netting 20 in 30 games.

Scott believes that his ability to be recruited by Maine, and to achieve the level of success he had there, was a direct result of his commitment to his off-ice training regimen. Scott's career was cut short due to chronic injuries in both of his hands, but he welcomes the opportunity to share his knowledge with developing players.

Scott is a certified trainer through the National Council on Strength and Fitness. He will be administering dynamic hockey-specific programs to increase a player's speed, power, strength, agility, quickness and coordination with the underlying goal of facilitating the player's development on the ice.

"Scott was a very explosive skater. He worked endlessly off the ice to develop the speed and quickness that made him one of the fastest skaters in college hockey."

Grant Standbrook - Assistant Coach, University of Maine; Assistant Coach, 1976 U.S. Olympic Hockey Team
