Summer Walk-on Skills
Our Summer Walk-On Skills sessions start July 14th for Mites/Squirts and July 19th for Pee Wees/Bantams. All sessions will be held at the Boch Ice Center, Dedham Mass.

Mondays - 5:30pm - 6:20pm Pee Wees/Bantams
Wednesdays - 5:30pm - 6:20pm Mites/Squirts

These sessions are going to be limited to the first 20 skaters who register with us at the rink. They are being held on the small sheet, so we are limiting them to up to 20 skaters. The instructors will focus on skating, edge work, skating, shooting, etc. Players will receive proper correction on a regular basis.

Walk-On Skills Sessions Ending
The Tuesday and Thursday Walk-On Skills Sessions at the Pilgrim Skating Arena in Hingham have now ended. There are no sessions this week. Wednesdays sessions at the Boch Ice Center in Dedham are the final ones until Fall. Mites & Squirts at 6:00pm, PeeWees & Bantams at 7:00pm. Cost is $25.00.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT ABOUT THE BLUE CHIP 3x3 LEAGUE
All Mites should show up at the Pilgrim Skating Arena at 5:00 tonight (Monday). We will have our final game, running until 6:30.

Our final PeeWee games will be held at the arena tomorrow night (Tuesday).
4:30 - 5:30 Whalers vs Oilers
5:30 - 6:30 Red Wings vs Bruins

Summer Camps Fast Approaching
There are a select handful of spots left for those who havent registered yet for the 8 week development camp in Dedham and the 8 week development camp in Hingham, as well as the "20s" in both Hingham and Dedham. Thanks to all who have pre-registered. We are looking forward to another great summer of development.

For those in the Boston Advantage program, please act quickly as spots will be filled. We will see you all in a couple of weeks!

Goaltending through Brian Eklund's MassCrease: We are proud to continue our relationship with Stanley Cup Champion Brian Eklund for all of our goaltending development. MassCrease and Lovell's Hockey are very much on the same page about individual development. Goalie please register as soon as possible at www.masscrease.com as we will cap the number of goalies on ice.

Programs at Gorilla Pit in Full Swing
All the equipment is in, the shooting area is complete and the programs are in full swing. There are still a limited number of spots available for the spring. Please check the schedule for more details! "Its been great so far" commented Brian White, the lead trainer. "The equipment is top notch and better than I have seen in some NHL facilities and the shooting station is a great way to develop. I am excited to be a part of it and the players seem to have taken to what we are doing and to the facility."

Summer Programs Filling Fast
The summer programs are filling fast. Some are sold out already and others are close to being filled. Please get your registration in if interested in our programs. We cap the number of players allowed in the session to maximize repetition and correction. We hope to see you over the summer!

Goalie Training with Brian Eklund's Mass Crease
We are excited that our relationship with Brian has grown again. We are offering Brian's Mass Crease program along with our 8 week development program for goalies. This will give us a terrific blend of development for skaters and goalies. You can register through www.lovellhockey.com or at www.masscrease.com. We also encourage you to look at Brian's skill sessions.

Spring Walk-ons
The spring walk-on programs are still going. We still have a few weeks left. This could be a good way to introduce yourself to Lovell's Hockey if you have never been.

The Gorilla Pit Spring Schedule has new start dates. It will run from April 19th - June 25th (Men's 3 Day Workout), April 20th - June 26th (Women's 3 Day Workout), April 20th - June 26th (Private Training) and April 24 - June 26th (Shooting & Stickhandling). Summer 2010 Programs. Lovell's Hockey is proud to announce that the 8 week development program is back but with an exciting twist! We are also offering a new program called "20's" that is a totally new concept in the area. Lovell's Alumni. We are proud to list all the players we have been fortunate enough to have at our camps over the years. Its an impressive list of very good hockey players and terrific young men and women. Our program is where it is because of what these players have been able to accomplish. We will be holding tryouts on December 4th at 8:20pm at the Pilgrim Skating Arena in Hingham. We have received several calls and emails asking us about joining the program so this is a great way to get involved. With the split season team wrapping up in a week or so, this tryout will be a way to fill the remaining openings.

It has been a terrific first half of the season and we have seen a great deal of progression. We are excited to continue working on skills development, skating, hockey intelligence, shooting, passing, positional play, etc through three practices a week and with a competitive schedule. WALK-ON SKILLS UPDATE. We have had great success with our Walk-On Skills program over the years and this year is no different. We have sessions on Sunday, Monday & Tuesday in Hingham, and on Wednesday we have them in Dedham. Check the Schedules page for more information regarding times and groups. We see a great deal of progress with the players who attend regularly. We focus on skating (forwards & backwards), stride mechanics, edge work, explosiveness, turning, passing, shooting, proper hand placement, etc. Please check the Schedules page for additional details.

We have added Walk-On skills sessions for Mites/Squirts and PeeWees/Bantams on Monday nights in Hingham, starting September 28th. We have also made changes to the Sweet 16 program.
